mission

words are powerful and your voice has an impact. are you speaking up for what you know is right and asking for what you need?

vintage looking photo with adult saying be quiet - the boxx brand - say it out loud..

as a socialized female with a highly sensitive temperament, the off-handed phrase, "children should be seen, not heard" took root in my psyche. now an adult with Peter Pan syndrome and outdated beliefs, i find myself not always saying what needs to be said - not standing up for myself or the things i believe in - and staying quiet to avoid conflict.

tragic, right?!

every person should have the right to speak up and be heard. sometimes it's in our control, sometimes it's not. but those with the ability to speak should. and choosing to remain silent is no longer an option.

finding it too hard to say the things? it isn't easy, especially when you are out of practice. don't sweat it - start by writing in your journal to get the words out of your head and into existence. while you find your voice (and confidence), keep trying to say the things out loud, wear your thoughts for people to see, and start the conversation.

our mission is to give a voice to those who can't speak, to help protect our natural spaces, and to laugh... a lot.

because we are all in this together and i would much rather spend time doing the things i love with the people i love instead of wasting energy on anger, division, and outdated beliefs.
